Do not store sensitive information

Stash is designed for development resources — snippets, prompts, commands, notes, and links. Content is not encrypted at rest. Do not store private API keys, passwords, credit card numbers, social security numbers, or any other sensitive personal or financial information in this application.

What we collect

We collect your email address and name when you register. If you sign in with GitHub, we receive your public GitHub profile information. We store the content you save (snippets, prompts, commands, notes, and links) in order to provide the service.

How we use it

Your data is used solely to operate Stash. We do not sell your data, share it with third parties for advertising, or use it to train AI models. Payment processing is handled by Stripe — we never store your card details.

Data storage

Your data is stored on Neon (PostgreSQL) hosted in the US. We take reasonable precautions to protect it, but no system is 100% secure.

Deleting your data

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. This permanently removes all your items, collections, and personal information from our systems.

Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use tracking or analytics cookies.
